Whatever you can give will support Clockwork and Phil do the work they need to do!
Clockwork is a charity based out of my hometown, Oxted, who are passionately working to improve the lives of young people who are suffering from mental illness.
As someone who has spent quite a few days fighting off the black dog, anything you can do to make someones day that little bit brighter is so incredibly important.
Whether it's...
- Asking twice to see if they're ok,
- Genuinely listening as and when people need/want to talk,
- A smile in passing to that struggling stranger,
- A shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen or a text to check in.
Clockwork seeks to achieve its aim through two primary means: by providing financial assistance to help young people access local counselling and mental health services; and by seeking to promote and protect good mental health, through services such as peer listening, support groups and information provision.
To carry out this work, Clockwork relies on a programme of fundraising events and activities, either organised by the charity itself or on its behalf by supporters. The charity receives no government or local authority funding.
Whatever you are able to give can make a huge difference in the work they can do, and the amount of people they can support.
Thanks and with so much love,
Phil
